Creative Graphic Designer

Photography was my first artistic love. I would spend hours in the woods taking memory-cards-full of photos that became vehicles for my perspective. In the years since, as I’ve picked up a few new skills and shifted focus to visual design, I am still captivated by the way art can serve as a communication vector for the most ethereal of ideas.
Soon I’ll have been a professional designer for ten years. It’s been a fun and fulfilling decade that started at an amazing screen printing shop in Harrisonburg, VA after my graduation from James Madison University in 2015, and progressed through some amazing professional opportunities leading me to where I am today.
Outside of visual design, a great deal my creativity goes into songwriting and playing music in Juniper Tree. I love spending time outdoors soaking in the textures, colors, and millions of other indescribable lessons that teem in the natural world. Sometimes I’ll bring a pen and page, sometimes just snacks and a Nalgene.
When my eyeballs are sufficiently rested from the screen, I enjoy taking on freelance projects, and I consider it an honor to partner with entrepreneurial spirits in the community. My areas of expertise include packaging design, apparel graphic design, brand / logo creation, illustration, and music industry design.
